Side effect reporting

In addition to our core business, our company engages in activities related to the collection, preservation, and restoration of art as part of our social involvement.

Specifically, we mainly purchase Edo-period ukiyo-e prints at overseas auctions and facilitate their return to Japan. The collected works are loaned to domestic and international exhibitions as needed. In addition, our restoration activities involve acquiring artworks that have been neglected or poorly treated due to damage (such as tears, missing parts, severe dirt, or childish scribbles). We then have these works repaired and restored by a restorer in Kyoto, bringing the artworks back to life.

We have cataloged over 150 pieces and made them available online.

In recent years, we have also started supporting contemporary artists.
